What do you mean by “Multiple Intelligence (M.I.) Approach”?
|
The understanding of Multiple Intelligence (M.I.) is the understanding of how children learn. It is only when we understand how they learn that we begin to know how to teach them.
At R.E.A.L. kids, we recognize that every child has different multiple intelligences. We use the "M.I. Approach" to understand how your child learns. Our lessons are designed to explore and tap the potentials of each child, help your child overcome his/her learning weakness, and maximizing his/her learning preferences.

Are you using the Montessori method? How does your R.E.A.L kids programme differ from the Montessori method?
|
Montessori’s pace of learning is child-dependant.
R.E.A.L kids set the pace and encourage the child by making learning interesting and fun.
R.E.A.L kids practice an integrated and holistic approach, taking the best form of learning from Montessori and other pre – school methods geared towards producing a well – balanced education for the child.

What do you mean by children “learning through fun” ?

R.E.A.L kids lessons are taught via multi–faceted activities with a fun learning approach, appealing to the child’s learning preferences. These activities include:-
- Playing language games
- Learning through music and songs etc
- Reading aloud
- Phonics hands-on activities
- Alphabet games using body language
- Flash cards

I want my child to learn more Mandarin. I plan to send him to a Chinese primary school.

Extra Mandarin Class (for Pre-2 and Pre-3) – ½ hour after normal school hours

Mandarin Medium Programme (for Pre-2 and Pre-3)
All subjects will be conducted in Mandarin except for languages. Math & Science are taught
bilingually i.e. in English and Mandarin.

Who developed the R.E.A.L Kids programme ?

Our programme is developed in-house comprising of professionals from the Programme & Training Department. They are curriculum developers, educationists, experienced principals and a task force comprising of experienced teachers.

R.E.A.L programme fullfills all the Academic requirements, preparing the children for formal (school) education and yet it is emphasises on experiential learning with multi faceted

Are your teachers trained? Tell me a little about their background. |
Our teachers have to attend a minimum of two centralized trainings. Training is conducted by a team of trainers from our Programme & Training Department, educationists and experienced principals.
Teachers are trained in five key areas i.e. syllabus training, micro teaching session, Multiple Intelligences workshop, classroom management and skills workshop.
